Yes the fallout of all this is going to be historic. We should all be paying attention. It is a huge deal the United States is banning a social media app.

I continue to be very surprised how little Nostr cares.

You mean there’s another website other than X?!?

It’s a fair point, from an indie web fan perspective, anything forcing people away from digital bedlam is good but if they then just leave for Facebacon, that’s a fail.

Maybe if Tik tokkers talked about bitcoin it would raise an eyebrow here…

TikTok suppresses Bitcoin content.

And they do not want to move back to meta apps. There is a movement now to deactivate meta accounts this week to punish metas lobbying efforts that successfully got TikTok banned.

Yeah I am proud of the TikTokers. They will eventually come to Nostr and make this place even better.
