I think it’s significant because it’s more private… it can help get new users away from kyc. For example it cost money to open a self custody lightning channel….

But if u make npub.cash your lightning address… then bam 💥 u can instantly start receiving zaps ⚡️ without your identity tied to it.

The money is essentially in your relays or your browser…. Protected by your Nostr keys 🔑

Then when it gets to a significant amount you can look into moving funds to a lightning channel you own…

The idea is getting away from kyc

You can send e cash to a lightning wallet.

Also you can send lightning to an e cash wallet…
