The question is probably does Tor fix this, but she's reported before how it was developed for deep cover intelligence agents, so...🤷‍♂️

Thanks for posting this. Will bump it up in the queue and try to listen tomorrow. Oof.

How will you keep Tor updated when updates are no longer available?

Good Q, no idea. Same goes for Tails, right? I don't know enough about the ways of online privacy/anonymity...need to fix that...

Cry. Rage against the Heavens. Soliloquyize. Drink overpriced liquor.

And then quietly fork the source, and reach out to others to help. A FOSS project can always return to life as long as one "Horcrux" of its code still exists.

Very good question.

Great answer. Very funny too. 😂🤣

so it has to be at this level then ?

From listening to Webb's TFTC interview, I think so(?). But even before that, we have to think about the ISP itself. How to even access *any* protocol if ISPs themselves become KYC? I mean, it's like we need to establish networks over HAM or something. I don't know man. Sounds bleak. Eager for some very practical steps to exit all that.

if thats good I guess we just need to backup the books.

If you want to know which car is the most secure, don't ask a car salesman. Ask a car thief. Find out what the thieves use.

This is also true for techniques for the communication of private information.
