I really don't mind some promo.
I'm mostly sad that I invited someone here with the hope of introducing her to the awesome writing community on Mastodon, and she just posts the same old promo post (with switched out names) for her podcast every other day. (I'm autistic. I noticed this stuff.)
Eventually, I'll mute her. *sigh*

Sorry to hear that, the post makes more sense to me in that context now. I agree with the writing community here though, I wasn't expecting it but people have been so friendly and communicative! It's just overall been a lovely experience on mastodon, even though I generally don't prefer the microblog format. (I typically gravitate towards traditional forums more)
