I hear you. I volunteered for a grassroots once and there was so much fighting, nothing got done. So I kind of seen both worlds.

There is a cool way to take a L. Accept and Solutions. Course correction is only done by the most level headed, IMO.

Its one extreme or the other, there can be a debate but it has to be a solution at the end. Compromise, possibly, as well.

Like, people are posting political memes about Hey we will solve the problems, but if you could we wouldn't need you to solve it.

I wouldn't want to see this protocol end up like that. More talk, talk, talk, scream, scream, scream, repeat. You know?
