I reached 1200 days of Duolingo last night! 🥳🥳🥳

I'm learning Korean, but I'm not following Duolingo's timeline. I stick on one lesson until I'm actually familiar with the words they try to teach me, which might end up being weeks at times, so I haven't made it very far.

I've also learned a bunch of words from my husband, and from watching Korean shows, so it's kinda fun when they later show up in Duolingo and I am already familiar with them 😎

Learning can be hard, but realizing I already know something is fun 😎

really nice, this used to be easier before they introduced the path

i stopped using it, but still looking for an open source/privacy friendly alternative for language learning

Yeah, they keep changing it.

A few weeks ago they literally redid my entire learning path, claiming I have learned things that I never actually learned. I'm still using it because it's the best I've found, but I went all the way back to the beginning where now I'm learning new things it claims I'm legendary in, but I never learned it through Duolingo!

Yes, and open source, privacy friendly language app would be awesome!!!
