Seeing a lot of doom and gloom about Nostr. It seems like some were expected an unending influx of users.

But that's not how humans work. Once they have found a thing and gotten comfy with it, it takes an awful lot to make them choose to use a new thing. Nostr is not even a new SM site but a whole new and foreign way of doing SM. Few people want to risk looking foolish or dumb figuring out The New so they stick with what they know.

I'm okay with Nostr not growing too quickly. Maybe spaces made to draw in 'everyone' is a mistake.

Anyway, I get to review arrest videos at work today. Wish I could share details because honestly, smart and capable people do not quite understand how out of control dumb people's lives can get. Just wildly and terribly out of control. Because they're dumb and make poor choices.
