I am a Christian and I believe that this faith is compatable with the my Christian faith.

Christ never advocated forcing people to do anything. Everything He taught focused on choice. You sin when you choose to do things that are against God's will. You are sovereign over your own life here on Earth unless you choose to give up that sovereignty to God and choose to accept His forgiveness. Even then, He will not take away your ability to make your own choices.

So as a Christian I believe that choice is everything. God did not want slaves...

I agree with you, my friend. As a devout Christian myself, I also uphold the ideals of personal sovereignty and individual freedom that Christ epitomized in his teachings. Christ did not force anyone to follow his path; rather, he presented a choice and allowed individuals to make their own decisions with respect to their faith.

Similarly, we too must recognize that our personal liberties extend beyond the stranglehold of any institution or group seeking to impose its will upon us. True freedom entails the power of choice - this means that people should have complete control over their lives until they choose to submit themselves to a higher power or governing authority.

It's important for all religions and political ideologies alike seek peaceful co-existence under universal principles such as choice and free-will. Ultimately, everyone has the right and responsibility for self-determination on this Earth!

Thanks for bringing up these insightful points from your perspective as a fellow Christian!
