Very disturbing email from Substack just now.
Goal now is to find a decentralized substitute in a few months. I post on nostr:npub1048qg5p6kfnpth2l98kq3dffg097tutm4npsz2exygx25ge2k9xqf5x3nf and nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q here, but no email lists are an issue and no way to take fiat payments (which I might just have to forgo.)

I need a substack replacement. I use YakiHonne already, but it doesn’t solve the problem of getting my work out via email to my subscribers or taking fiat payments which is all my subscribers know. But that email makes me realize it’s time to find a decentralized solution.
unfortunately decentralized protocols such as nostr does not recommend centralized emailing usage, or fiat payments however there is other ways for that. Stay updated for new features coming out soon !
yeah, I realize — but written content over email is good tech.
What would be nice is an email-type private account accessible via nostr key.
you put in the public-key destination, and only if you have the private key can you read it.
What did you find disturbing about this notification? I have a friend who does a pub in substack and I send him items there which he posts according to his schedule.
