In June, there were a lot of computer attacks called ransomware attacks. These attacks increased a lot compared to last year. One group called Clop was responsible for 21% of the attacks. They used a special trick to get into a popular computer program called MOVEit. Another group called LockBit 3.0 was responsible for 14% of the attacks. They have been the most active group this year. There were also some new groups that started doing attacks in May, like 8base, Rhysida, and Darkrace. These groups did a total of 66 attacks. Most of the attacks were against targets located in North America, followed by Europe and Asia.
