I'm thinking I'm going to build a website where people can buy and sell gift cards for Cash or Bitcoin.

The only problem with this business if that someone could "Sell their gift card" but retain the details and spend it after selling.

You, as the escrow service, would have to either redeem and re-issue the gift card or hold the payment until the buyer used the gift card.

Yeah, exactly. But that's the problem, what if they don't use their gift card for a while 🤔

Just tell them upfront that they lose their protection after 48 hours.
