Took the fam to the local Steak ‘n Shake tonight for supper. Asked to pay in Bitcoin. The waitress didn’t know how. She went and asked the manager. They said I couldn’t pay in bitcoin because the iPad was out of battery…
I paid in dirty fiat via Apple Pay. Miserable.
This happened to me as well in Italy, I was trying to buy Falafel by Kebhouze, which was supposed (I didn't on a different location) to accept Bitcoin
Their iPad was turned off....
