While i'm on a roll of complaining about shit i'd also like to say some of the immature banter at the bitcoin conference desk is such a major turn off if you're actually trying to attract new people. Whether you've inviting people to the desk who advocate for no self-custody and a 5% management fee, people that talk about eating dog food to stack more sats or so much of the other content that doesn't resonate outside of the tiny Twitter culture that dominates how guests are curated.
