.. with super HD high quality cameras and resolutions pictures being better and better, 3D printing machines and materials improvements and costs going down vertically, AI making able almost anyone to vibecode anything on their own..
Soon gloves with your fingerprints could be used by anyone anywhere.. by malicious actors or governments.
I guess at some point fingerprints won’t be used as evidence, perfect excuse to accelerate a “PreCrime” system based on your AI conversations.
Tech will get there (maybe it already has, who knows). But honestly, there’s no need for it given how easy it is to socially manipulate people. Just have a couple of Nostr influencers start a trend like:
"Send me your fingerprints, a DNA swab, and retina scans to... (reads card) prove that you are not one of the lizard people, and get a chance to be zapped 10k sats."
Folks here who act like they’re running the next Cicada 3301 would gladly mail all of that.
Plus, Occam’s razor: a real violent and malicious actor can "extract" fingerprints (or for another fifty quid, entire fingers…) pretty easily. No need for advanced tech when a cheap thug can do the job just fine.
