If it's slow but does flow a little, try boiling water and some grease cutting soap like Dawn.

Our pipes catch stuff pretty badly be cause of a 3ft/1m slow incline just 6ft/2m downstream of the sink drain. Whenever it gets slow, i just boil a big pot of water with soap, pour it down the drain, and we're done.
