I see value in the idea, because I think everything should be ephemeral anyway. Why should we save all the “GM” messages for instance. Who’s gonna go back and check them?

Relays should be deleting stuff regularly in order to keep operating costs low too.

If you wanna save your “GN” message from 1999 then you should be paying a premium subscription to some relay 😅
