I’ve been saying this for years. America is the citadel. nostr:note1chkhfaq34ethrl5g9ty6kepd9dxdge2g2lpvfxs255qhdwhgs2esg5hm0y

Yeah, it's been obvious for a long time, but it's sped up to a crazy speed.

We’re going to embed bitcoin into every layer of our financial markets and then soft default on the rest of the world via money printing. The solution if you’re outside America? Own Bitcoin and hopefully be someplace where the government won’t take it from you.

Yes, stack sats and try to get Bitcoin embedded into your own economy, so that politicians look like killjoys for banning it. Popularize it.

I can actually see this happening, in Germany, so I am still hopeful.

I am hopeful for Japan

This is my base case

I'm looking forward to being a new Texas oil baron.

People are missing the importance of financial infrastructure and liquidity. There are numerous American Bitcoin ETFs and they're all absolutely gigantic, and they're very easy for Americans to purchase. Especially, as American citizens are simply used to the idea of investing in the stock market. Most Germans own no stocks and never have.

Americans have an easy time purchasing Bitcoin with dollars and they dominate the wallet market, including Lightning. They also have massive, private Bitcoin mining operations that are literally keeping the lights on in Texas, and they have Senators running on Bitcoin platforms and now a President who is a Bitcoin Promoter because he likes to look cool for the kids.

If the dollar starts heading south, Americans can quickly pile in to the ETF lifeboats and it's "Party on, Wayne", while everyone else is drowning in a flood of dollars.

German news is full of Trump this and Trump that, but nobody noticed the most important Trump announcement:

I don't, for the record, think Trump "gets" Bitcoin, but I am certain that he knows it's uncool to not be "into crypto".

I don't follow the lightning wallets part. WoS is Australian, ACINQ is French, Galoy/Blink are French/Salvadorian, Alby developers mostly from Poland (not sure about this), Coinos is Canadian... What does it mean that Americans dominate the (Lightning) wallet market? Strike, Cash app and Lightspark?

the speed is huge right now

Very American thing to say. Very stereotypical 😂

Proud to be a stereotypical American

And I'm proud to be a descendant from the Vikings 🤙

Disagree. USA already lost status of Citadel. Will never regain it again. #Nostr
