True, I give up on Dells after my previous purchase on a newer model would not work with EFI Linux

well you know what they say "stop buying Windows machines for Linux" and instead buy a Desktop that is known and working well with Linux.
My other dell refurbished worked great with it. Only slightly older than the gay one
