Being present isn't just about focusing on your current task. It's also about recognizing when you're distracted and accepting it. It means understanding discomfort and examining it closely.

I often analyze my feelings and why I act a certain way. Is the task hard or unclear? Maybe it's something I disagree with or think is a waste of time.

I steer clear of judgments like "lazy" or "undisciplined," and instead strive to understand my situation in the moment.
