I think i can relate to his concern, imagine living close to a giant CPU that everyday you can hear it processing something and the heat from the CPU stays with you all day 24/7 a year, never stop .

I'll watch the whole thing after work, but you already partly convinced me that it's probably an annoyance.

I've seen a documentary about that exact plant some time ago, where they've been reporting about all the jobs it created after the aluminun plant closed, so I was not entirely neutral.

I was thinking how to eliminate the noise, liquid cooling could satisfy both parties I guess.

It’s definitely a hit piece and could do without all of the obvious angles it’s taking to make bitcoin look bad. I’m not going to deny that. But if the rest, as reported, is true, then I feel for the residents. Of course, I’m not dying on this hill because I can’t be certain we have all the details.
