Yeah also I think because there is a notion that people buy into shitcoin 'communities', which is obviously just a buzzword rather than an actual community anyone would recognise as such.

Doge and Ethereum seem to have something similar to the Bitcoin community, but Bitcoin is clearly king.

I agree. Ethereum/Urbit seems like a legit crew too. Not that I've properly explored it.

It's a security pretending to be a commodity, IMO, but they're using it for contracts and tokenized stock-trading, and stuff.

I'm a goldbug, so I stick to commodities as money. Everything else is an investment and you risk losing the principle.

Sure, I'm not really interested in Ethereum reall, just meant that Urbit seems like a legit place with community vibe. I can't really say for sure tho. They do well with their quite cool / hip cultural events and marketing, cultural influencers blah blah. I think some of it is paid for. Like they've tapped in to that Dime Square scene. (None of this is an endorsement lol, although I do quite like Justin Murphy).
