it's kind of like Nike vs New Balance

my New Balance shoes are Made in USA of Genuine Suede Leather, come in multiple widths, the most comfortable shoes i ever worn, been wearing them longer than any of my Nikes lasted ...

but the design is nothing to write home about ( at least they're black ) ...

and they aren't promoted by billionaire athletes ...

so everybody buys disposable Nikes made from plastic that only come in a single width, are equally uncomfortable on first day and last and only maybe 2 or 3 years before some kind of a bubble bursts ...

the point is few people care about substance - most only care about style, bling, perceived status ...
