I felt so sorry for this little fella. I generally don't love possums but this one seemed so cute. When it sniffed the banana & started munching on it, I was pretty happy. I was worried that my dog had hurt it but also didn't want to touch it.

Just went out & found it dead not far from where it was yesterday. 😔
I couldn't see any bite marks on it. My guess is that it was sick. It's so weird to see a possum out in the day time.

The only ones I see in daylight are those hanging from the electricity poles on the street. Fried to a crisp!
