It's a ghost fleet because they're dead ships. As seen on the picture above
A Russian oil tanker has split in half in the Black Sea. Although the incident occurred near the Kerch Strait in Crimea, there is no indication that it was a Ukrainian attack or a naval mine explosion. It is likely one of the tankers from Putin’s “ghost fleet,” a group of hundreds of old vessels that sail with their identifiers turned off, selling Russian oil on the black market to fund the invasion of Ukraine. Due to the advanced age of these ships, accidents involving Russia’s “ghost fleet” are quite common. https://video.nostr.build/4e191f1238f7925a69d77b6c1055880048d3bc949c29105c04c37b0d438f0c0b.mp4
