This is a reminder for myself I still need to move my Alby funds.... This means scrolling loooong time through my wall to find the thread about it from a week plus ago and the determinations I'd made about where to live it to.... Which I have now forgotten.

Just send all the sats to another wallet control and wade through the process of setting up a new wallet to send and receive.
I did the new wallet for za part already. Just trying to remember how to bring this to self custody wallet that I already have. I think it's gonna be through muun cos it can receive lightening transactions as well. And then if I want can transfer to something else.
For the procrastinating bitcoiner: try making a coinos.io wallet and send your alby sats there until you set it up?
Do you have to expose me? Procrastinating? I was just overwhelmed after an intense session of learning new things and life has just allowed me to get back at it.
No, but seriously I am learning proactive is better for my relationship with BTC.
Why are you moving Alby funds? Are you running your own hub or no?
No. I am closing it down.
Ah I gotcha. You could always send all your funds to your primal address until you find a better home for your sats
I haven't actually activated primal wallet.
Then it depends... Because if you need a LNURL... The only places I've found being in the US is Alby, primal, strike, or Zeus. Everything else works like breez or aqua, but they don't have lightning URLs. Pros and cons.
Muun does, no?!?
No. Muun does not have LNURL. And Muun is not a native lightning wallet. It does submarine swaps which is a fancy term for, Muuns servers receive and send lightning for you, but you're doing an on-chain transaction every time it happens. Which is why muun is unusable when there's high on-chain fees.
