I think nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n Jade and nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl wallets are the most affordable HWW on the market, right ?

Correct
Definitely Jade is one of the most affordable, BTC focused, air gapped, open source, etc… I think it’s a pretty good value, specially after the last news about Trezor/Ledger sw sending/scanning user data
I think thats about right.
A Jade is the cheapest one i have ($60?) but now lists for higher
Seedsigner just bare parts may be $40 or $50 but typical casing and buttons drives it up to $80+ is my experience.
If you count it, Tapsigner is as low as $30. I want to get one to try out
Anything under $100 is a good price for a hardware signing device, and under $200 for feature rich devices
You can get a FIDO2 key like Yubi for $20 and then use it with Coin Wallet same level of HW security.
Yes have both.. both are awesome but also really awesome is the Krux. Have you tried Krux? There are two devices a small camera device similar to Jade and a larger touchscreen device.. It’s also open source and really cool fully air-gapped and has encrypted QR codes. https://github.com/selfcustody/krux
Yes, just be sure to tell people to flash the Jade firmware before setup, since the device is vulnerable to supply chain attack as demonstrated by nostr:npub17777777tpz9x2dcvvlw37sgk5gmpffexl0u30gjjgcd59ty92vrs0atnu0
While it may not yet be an issue, once ngu hits, and being that they use third party retailers, it could become a problem.
I spoke to Drew and Pablo from Blockstream at Unconfiscatable, and Pablo said they are working on improving security, to create a way to verify you have the original chip before setup.. no timeline on the update yet.
love my jades 🤙
I'd say so. 🤟
I have Jade but SeedSigner have better quality.
