Doing some test receive/send with foundation.
I sent X amount of sats from foundation to another wallet (Tx1) and then a few minutes later I sent Y amount of sats to a second, different wallet (Tx2).
I wake up this morning to find that, according to mempool.space, Tx1 (for X amount) which had previously broadcasted, showing up as pending on both Envoy and the other wallet, but NOT confirmed - had been “replaced” by Tx2 (Y amount).
So in essence, it appears that by sending Tx2, I completely cancelled Tx1?? Tx2 is sitting happily in the receiving wallet, fully confined. Whereas Tx1 has disappeared from the envoy queue with the sat balance fully reverted to my Envoy balance. Tx1 is showing as “not confirmed” in the receiving wallet UI and the transaction is marked as “replaced” by Tx2 in the mempool.
So my questions:
How? Why?
