how do they call them... jumper wires?

I hate soldering also 😀. I have seen this, it seems interesting, but never used it so far

thanks for sharing it. i think i already have a bunch of f-m jumper wires, which i should be able to attach directly to this grove base.

connections will definitely be more reliable this way.

But you can use for example female to female jumper wires to attach for example a dht22 humidity sensor to raspberry pi gpio pins directly without the need of any breadboard, which is nice.
