Ahh phew, yeah, just read it properly.

I'm using the #moStard nostr web app: https://mostard.org

I can set a receiving address and people can send me tips. I don't think there's notifications and you probably can't see who sends you a monero tip (privacy coin, after all).

Looks like you have a monero address set up, but it begins with a 5 so probably not a valid Monero mainnet address.

Mine is a testnet address for people on testnet versions of clients like mostard (not sure if it has a testnet implementation but Garnet does)

Now that you bring it up, I'm not sure why I don't use mostard. It's a good idea for a client and I've tested it before, but for some reason I can't quite process, I still don't feel comfortable accepting money for my posts.

I guess I just don't need the money or deserve it, but in that case I should accept tips just to send back out to other people and add to Monero's anonymity set, but in that case I would run into psychological obstacles like greed or getting into a fight with someone who changes their mind about me and wants their money back.

I'll keep thinking about this.

I don't think I've gotten a tip yet (haven't checked that wallet in a bit), but it is unlikely that I have.

Just testing out the concept. I think it is great to be able to tip small amounts to people. I don't think it is really linked to a particular post, so if you get a tip you have no idea what post it was for, unless the person tipping tells you.

Tipping and small contributions are a great use case for Monero and Bitcoin Cash
