I think things in the direction of gitplaza are a huge opportunity to #grownostr

I'm a believer in dogfooding and creating a really cohesive and powerful social dev experience is the perfect way for #nostrdevs to dogfood and rally around creating a killer Nostr tool set that is, per nostr:nprofile1qqsgydql3q4ka27d9wnlrmus4tvkrnc8ftc4h8h5fgyln54gl0a7dgspp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpxdmhxue69uhkuamr9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshkz7tkdfkx26tvd4urqctvxa4ryur3wsergut9vsch5dmp8pese6nj96's recent comment, not a Twitter clone. It's a chance to show what v4v social software can really be.

It would l also turbocharge #nostrdev itself in the process. Beauty of dogfooding.

But don't make it another GitHub. This requires reimagining social dev from first principles. A fresh grammer and protocol for building software together online, reimagined from a different set of constraints.

Maybe this needs a cli/lib that undergirds and some NIPs. Do those exist and I don't know yet? (Please edify me.)

Also, GitHub sucks, it has always sucked and it needs to die. 💀

Good job hosting on codebreg, btw.

Am I up too late or does this actually make sense?

I think... What I am trying to say is that we need to rethink the social end of dev. Discussions, proposals... The social process that builds the vision that builds the code. Nostr is really strong on the pink rock end of building, but Nostr has a chance to solve for how we build the vision that builds bigger, more cohesive thing, in a way that hasn't been done before.

And, that would unleash the collective power of nostr devs on other large problems spaces, that need that kind of coordination and coherence to tackle.

*punk rock ... pink rock is fine too, I guess, if that's what you're into
