why? nostr does natively everything that PGP dopes, but with better and more modern algorithms.
Discussion
Can you revoke your nsec if it has been compromised? To alert your contacts of such issue.
Can you encrypt a message to several users at once instead of sending a copy to every one? In the last case how would a group of users know the recieved the exact same message.
Can I clear sign a message in nostr with revokable nsec?
These are some uses I missed, but maybe NOSTR does it and I'm just unaware.
So you need nips that implement those features, not nips that integrate PGP. Some of them are already actively being discussed. They can be turned into nips as soon as some major client implements them. You could help both by participating in the discussions or implementing some of the proposals.
Well, if reinventing the wheel is the way, ok. I don't really mind about the method used.
I don't have the knowledge to implement them otherwise I would be doing it instead of asking for it, but I'll try to participate on the discussions.
Thanks.
It's not reinventing the wheel if it doesn't already exists. If it already existed you wouldn't be asking for it.. So...
