Chavez and Maduro deconstructed the Venezuelan economy. By their natural resources they could easily live in the wealth of Saudi Arabia. I know they are no idol for human rights.

But el Chavismo and the falling government of Nicolas Maduro brought a huge inflation and destruction of the economy through replacing profesionals with loyalists. (Seems simiar as an other government is doing it today with state employees by the way)

So in a naturally extremely rich country, most people live in very poor conditions. So it is nothing but a lie, that Maduros or Chavez government did support the working class. They took away the wealth of the rich and also the total wealth of the country. They did not reassign wealth in a more fair way. They destroyed it and turned Venezuela in a non-free Narcostate, where people have less economic and less political freedom.

So to I assume many people also celebrate on the street, because there will be opportunity to have a new government. Maby democratically elected.
