Storm babet has passed through, the rain is easing off. Just been to my allotment to assess the flooding and its not as bad as it has been in the past. So a day in doors getting caught up is on the cards whilst the waters recede..

GM ๐ Looks like the storm definitely left its mark - there wasn't much harm in my neck of the woods and the sound of the rain on the roof was lovely, except when I had to go out ๐

Oh it was ๐คฃ the river my garden is next too rose 4 meters in a few hours... but I'm near the mouth of it, so it's the upstream catchment coming down that causes a lot of the flooding here. Also being at sea level doesn't help ๐คฃ๐คฃ
๐ฎ itโs flooded worse before? Have you considered growing rice?
