i wish i could select the npubs whose posts i want to see first on my timeline
Discussion
i want to see everyone’s, but i also want to make sure i don’t miss my favorite npubs
If you have access to Coracle, setup a list of npubs you want to see. Then create a filter using that list. It will pull then only show you the notes from those npubs.
Coracle has a list option that allows you to make filtered feeds if that helps
oo that does help, but they sadly don’t have an app ☹️
lists are global. once you have a list you can use it in any client that supports lists. https://listr.lol/
Although they don't have a dedicated app, you can access coracle.social using the browser on your mobile device and it works just the same. Use a browser extension to login and your set. I use Nostore extension and Safari on iphone.
maybe for when i log into my laptop
Agreed would be cool
You can make lists and customs feeds with whatever favorites you have, and access that feed by default or with one single click.
You can. Create a custom list in your client (or if your client doesn't support list creation go to listr) then, when browsing your timeline switch from following or global to the custom list.
Which client do you use?
i’m on damus mainly, but also use primal and nostter sometimes
Have you tried Nostur? It’s also on iOS. It lets you create a custom feed and select specific contacts to show in that feed. Another way you could do it would be to create a second account and follow the people you want to see, then in Primal from your main account setup that secondary account’s feed as a custom feed. That’s a few more steps tho, and Nostur makes it so easy to do. Just some suggestions.
Use Nostrudel to make lists. They work well for exactly this
do these lists translate well into other clients?
In Amethyst I can say yes. I make the lists in Nostrudel and they show up in Amethyst. The lists show in the drop down box. I think it would be awesome if all clients gave you simple tap options to add and remove people from lists and to easily switch between lists
