Been *trying* to learn a new visual editor for websites. I think im gonna just be better off doing plain html and css insted of fucking with visual editors.

They usually generate pretty bad html anyways. Better to use a CMS or hand spin something.
That's kind of the conclusion I'm coming to. They seem to use this fucked up mixture of inline CSS along with an actual stylesheet. I was kind of hoping to find something that would make theme building for WordPress a lot easier for clients. I have nicepage....but like you said the code it spits out is functional but poor.
And also like really bloated so much unnecessary crap gets put in there.
Framer?
I was messing with pinegrow.
Yikes. I use webflow but I hear Framer is the hot new thing to learn
I will check both of those out.
Webflow is highly flexible but you have to stitch together more stuff. From my short trial with Framer it seems to be faster at putting together pages but a bit less flexible (or so it seems). I still can’t get used to it - probably need a week of playing around with it.
Chatgpt is the editor.
