The European Empire is probably the first empire in history expanding it's territory through purchasing countries with counterfit money. That's what the EU is doing.

I still slave too but just enough to not having to sell sats, pay the rent and to buy more sats. I had a conversation at work about upping my hours from partially voluntary and mini-job to fulltime. I kindly declined. I'M not working 160+ hours a month to have half of it stolen from me only to have to juggle the other half to make ends meet.
Fun fact: 30 years ago I was earning 10-15 DM/h while still in Hotel training. Then it turned into €10-12/h now it's €13/h. I basically cannot justify working fulltime for that amount.
