new version of Amythyst is setup to connect to hundreds of relays with no way to disable. I posted about not liking it. And that I will just use another app that doesnt take control away. And have been attacked since yesterday for it. Like really? Cuz I am choosing to use another app? Its quite a bizarre spectacle to be honest. Like, why the hell does anyone even care?

Not being able to turn it off enables spy nodes to better map the users of Nostr.
Censorship resistance and anonymity are hard to combine. Everybody should be free to choose what they need.
Would like to see an i2p version of Amethyst.
