If you are not embarrassed by your MVP it means you released it too late.

In my experience, the more pimped out the product you deliver, the more you have to rewrite after the customer sees it.
When you release something and no one uses it, it's kind of a relief because it also means no one will remember it. When people use the things you build, that's when you start having problems.
