Walked past a “crypto trading” venue yday afternoon with my kids

Guys lounging around with lots of screens in front of them

The more I study #Bitcoin the more pointless this focus seems

Sure, they might be able to gain an advantage, & “make money”

But what value is this really bringing to the world?

You do you. Of course. But what a waste of talent in my eyes

On the bright side, the high frequency of trades provides liquidity, market depth & fills blocks

I don’t think they spend any time trading in BTC

It’s switching between altcoins via crypto exchanges

So the liquify they provide is mostly elsewhere in that sense

Ask any crypto exchange where they make their money

& it’s from these traders regularly switching alt coins

Or retail investors getting into the market

forgot for a second there was other crypto aside from bitcoin 🥲😅
