#coffeechain would you describe your usual coffee? Simple or complex? I simply buy it and store in my freezer until I am ready for it (learned this only a few years ago! Major game changer on keeping it fresh) and then making it with a cheap coffee machine. Black coffee. (Yes, simple but good to me). What about you? πŸ’œπŸ«‚β˜•οΈβ˜•οΈβ˜•οΈβ˜•οΈ

Since I forgot to buy coffee, I'm drinking instant. πŸ˜”

Still better than nothing fren.

Accurate. It's my back up emergency stash.

I believe in backups. Smart! β˜•οΈ

I need to experience french press. (One of my goals)

It's worth trying. I used to ignore friends who said they tasted the difference. But it really is a nicer experience.

Usually, I buy it freshly roasted, let it rest for 10days to reduce CO2 to ensure more consistent extraction (CO2 in beans leads to "bubbling"). Then grind on demand and voila... β˜•

Got a portafilter espresso maker plus grinder.

Drink it black or with a little full-fat cream.

Fresh coffee every day πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‹.

You sound like a pro. Nice!

Kind of 😊. Been into coffee for about 10y now.

ok. just had a convo about this practice...

why put coffee bags in freezer? does it pick up any moisture?

I don’t buy coffee in bags. I buy them in sealed plastic containers. No moisture.

You’re pretty serious about your coffee, no?

Well yes in a simple way.

Others seem way better than me.. french press, etc.
