Taxis in mid-sized cities were notoriously unreliable back in my day. You’d call from the bar and it was a 50/50 chance they’d even show up at all and you’d have no idea how long it would take.

I also wholeheartedly disagree about the Airbnb over a hotel thing. 😂

These statements are observably true in my experience. The big guys over-promised and under-delivered.

Fiat culture invented and protracted the "user experiences over business viability" narrative.

All of these are so true.
