Thank you! Paid relays could be for a specific topic but would have to vet and curate who joins and what they post about.
The main reason I use paid relays is so that I can go into global and not be flooded with spam.
If you're on Damus for iOS, if you click the magnify glass at the bottom to load the global feed, once in the global feed click the three lines in the upper right. You can select which relays show global feed content. 🤙🏼

No problem. If you toggle on or off a relay and the toggle reverts back to the last option, simply exit the relay option screen and then go back into it. It's a known bug.
