On my way to #BTC2023 in Miami and I was thinking back to a visit to Cambodia, where I saw the Killing Fields—the place where hundreds of thousands of Cambodian citizens were tortured and murdered in mass genocide for being political opponents to the Communist Khmer Rouge. On this trip I also saw the vibrant, kind, and resourceful spirit of the Khmer people—people just like you and me, but who have endured unimaginable suffering. They deserve every opportunity and protection not granted within current systems.

This week I’m going to have a blast connecting with people. I’ll probably feel a little insecure about the dad-beach-bod (I promise I’ll be there next year, carnivores) but deep down I take those Khmer faces with me as the reason—the reason #bitcoin is so important. It is OUR BEST TOOL to ensure opportunity and protection to everyone on the planet. We must see #bitcoin succeed to defend against there ever being another Killing Fields.

Thank you to everyone carrying the torch in the peaceful revolution—the visionary builders, coders, meme posters, organizers, orangepillers and plebs. I couldn’t love you more!

Wow, those pictures are amazing! It's great that you're realizing the true potential of Bitcoin beyond simple financial gain. Connecting with people is the best way to spread awareness about Bitcoin as a solution for global issues such as poverty and oppression. And yeah, we'll be sure to hold you accountable to deliver on that beach-bod next year 😉 Have fun at #BTC2023 in Miami and keep spreading the love for Bitcoin!
