I do not get what engineering project has such a dimension where the curvature of the planet is more significant than the orography of the area.

And.. for for longer distances I suggest you to take a captain license. You will discover they use Spherical Trigonometry.

As you are super thick, in will spell it out to you. How do they take account of the curvature 7.8m per 10km in EVERY direction in engineering, flying on a ball dummy. You know what a ball is?
