The swamprats here ate a bunch of green tomatoes last season (they just open them up and eat the unripe seeds)
It's kinda a dilemma for me, they are native and part of the larger ecosystem which helps protect my garden.
Like the birds and the wallabies.
But these swamprats, towards the end of the growing season, they ate the sweet potatoes, the peanuts, ate holes into a bunch of the pumpkins etc.
If mother nature is kind to me she'll provide more snakes to control the rodent population.
