The wildfires are getting bigger and more intense. I have never heard the words “go bag” so often in my entire life.

Terrible.
It certainly is. Thankfully we are prepared and outside of the alert areas for now. But the anxiety on the island is palpable .
What's happening now?
Significant fires - we are in moderate drought, with high temps and no precipitation, even though we are typically one of the wettest places in North America.
yeah I just watched some local news. Seems like the drought is what's causing the flare ups.
Maybe nature is doing a detox?
