I have the EF 100mm 2.8l, it is a very nice lens. I haven’t done a lot of macro photography with it yet but is something I want to do more of.

You should! There must be some amazing insects around there no? Maybe some are dangerous though 😅

Some of the spiders are dangerous but most are fairly harmless. I could only find flies in my garden today but that was still good to practice on.
