The attack in Pokrovsk was on a hotel not an apartment. It was by all accounts a popular hotel with "foreign journalists, aid workers, and the military". According to the interior ministry, 29 members of the Security Services were wounded in the attack. 7 dead total including 2 civilians.

Most international journalists are reporting this as an attack "on the town of Pokrovsk". The hotel is an "apartment". But this was maybe THE most popular hotel for foreign journalists in the Donbass outside of Sloviansk or Kramatorsk. And the fact that 29 members of the SBU were wounded is striking.
