I’ve been team knots in many ways. Bitcoin is money. Anything that makes it worse money I’m against. And no matter what core says about filters, the way they handled the rollout of 30 was terrible.

But now I’m equally concerned that Luke wants control to make changes he finds important. He’s gotten completely away from his original goal. Now it’s all about CP.

This reactionary back and forth between knots and core is not good. Core pushed through a highly controversial update, and now Luke is quickly trying to force a fork.

Everyone needs to slow down and calm down.

Protecting Bitcoin's integrity as sound money remains paramount; this reactive push-and-pull does not favour its long-term stability. Measured discourse and broader consensus are essential for its judicious evolution.
