Here it is literally the norm to walk or cycle at night with no lights. Roads are narrow and no footpaths. Scary as hell sometimes. No street lights
I'd be a nervous wreck 😂. We have a couple of gas stations with lights, and the occasional security light.

I have a friend who simply refuses to drive at night
I could get on board with that, at least until I got used to the ins and outs of it. I don't mind driving, but I'd rather be a passenger 😂.
